Chris Goodrich has been playing hockey almost all his life. Currently, Chris is the Assistant Hockey Director at Iceland Skating Rink in New Hyde Park, N.Y., as well as the Director of the LI Sharks/IceCat Player Development Program. He is head coach for the LI Sharks/IceCat Mites and Squirts. He is also a former captain of the Hofstra University Hockey Team and he has been trained under the guidance of Barbara Williams, Lou Lamoriello, Brian Burke, and Ron Wilson. Chris has taught and trained hundreds of students over the years as he has watched some of his students go from Squirts to College.
Being a good skater is the foundation for being a good hockey player. A good hockey player isn’t only fast, but is in control of their skating and they can always keep their balance.
